You've spent years building your practice. Have you spent thirty minutes thinking about what comes next?
If you're a Georgia enrolled agent thinking about what the next chapter of your practice looks like, you're not alone. And you don't have to figure it out by yourself.
You’ve thought about this. Most EAs in your stage have. What happens to the practice when you start to slow down. What happens to the clients who have trusted you for years. What happens to the work you put your name on.
Maybe you haven’t written anything down yet, or had a real conversation with anyone about what the practice is actually worth, what your options are, or who could step in if you needed them to. That’s not a character flaw. It’s what happens when you spend sixty-plus hours a week on client work and the planning question keeps moving to next quarter.
The practice you built deserves a plan. So do the clients who depend on it.
The Practice Transition Readiness Scorecard
Eight questions across three areas of your practice, three minutes to complete, one honest look at where you stand and what comes next. It won’t tell you what your practice is worth or what to do with it. It will show you where you actually stand on the things that matter, and that’s where a real conversation starts.

About Andreas
Andreas Wilder is the Founder and CEO of Lightening the Load, a tax practice in Marietta, Georgia. He is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and a graduate of the Honors Program at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management with a degree in Finance and Accounting. Before building the practice, he served as a Company Commander in the Georgia Army National Guard.
He spends his days serving clients the same way you do, and he spends his evenings and weekends thinking about what comes next for the practice owners he respects. He has had this conversation, on both sides of the table, more than once. If you are an EA in Georgia thinking about your next chapter, he wants to hear from you.
